- Information sessions May 2013 provide staff with advanced advice on the new Subject Evaluation Survey (core items) so that they can consider the principles in the design and teaching of their subjects in preparation for 2014.
- Detailed information is also provided on Evaluations web pages (Division of Student Learning website) http://www.csu.edu.au/division/student-learning/home/page
- Professional Development activities associated with the new CSU Assessment and Moderation policies will build staff capacity to design subjects in accordance with the principles underpinning the Subject Experience Survey.
- Workshops on Paperless Marking will continue to be offered by Sam Parker, Systems Development Manager, Division of Student Learning. Paperless marking supports the rapid return of assignments and, in conjunction with rubrics, clarity of feedback.
- Over time, the Smart Learning project and its underpinning software Smart Tools will support courses in achievement of CSU’s Curriculum Learning and Teaching framework, which underpins the Subject Experience Survey.
