CSUEd 09

The CSUED09 Conference entitled 'Leading and Learning in University Education' was held at the Thurgoona Campus of Charles Sturt University on 26th and 27th November 2009. It was preceded by preconference workshops held on the 25th.

There was an excellent array of presentations which were collated into the strands of Collaboration/Creativity, Innovation, Transformation and Showcasing of Leading and Learning, so encouraging distributive leadership. A further strand relating to the work of the ALTC ran concurrently over the two days.

We were welcomed to the conference by Pastor Darren Wighton, an elder with the Wiradjuri Community and the keynote speakers, Professor Chris Brook, Curtin Business School and Professor Terry Anderson from Athabasca University Canada, provided participants with some thought provoking ideas, while the Dinner Speaker, Professor Peter Goodyear CoCo Research Centre, University of Sydney kept diners engaged and interested with an insight into his work.
