The Assessment Summary table displays beneath the Assessment Items grouping header.  The assessment items will be automatically be entered into the table upon clicking 'Save' on an assessment item form.   The summary table cannot be directly edited - it can be edited by updating each specific item via the Manage Assessment component of the tool.

An Outline must contain at least one (1) assessment item which describes the assessable task(s) required for the subject.  If the Outline does not contain at least one (1) assessment it will not pass the Compliance Check.

Important

The 'Save' button within the 'Add Assignment/Exam' screen must be clicked for assessment item content to permanently save and update within the Outline body and Summary table.  Clicking 'OK' on an individual editor for each section of the assessment item will not permanently save the content - you must click 'OK' then 'Save' to permanently save the content.

To access the Manage Assessment screen from the Edit screen click either the:

Manage Assessment button in the upper menu of the Edit Outline screen; or
Assessment item grouping 'pencil' icon adjacent the grouping header; or
Assessment item grouping placeholder or content (area becomes pink when you hover over with the mouse cursor).

The Manage Assessment screen will open in a new window to allow the Author to continue viewing the Outline in the main window, e.g. refer to Learning Objectives, while authoring assessment items.

The columns and footnotes automatically included in the Assessment Summary table are depicted in the following screenshot. Note that the third footnote will only appear if the Outline contains an assessment item with a variable value, e.g. item number 3 in the screenshot below. Also see column descriptions tabled below the screenshot.
