Once a staff member in either the Subject Coordinator or Nominal Subject Coordinator role (as per the SCMF) creates an Outline for a subject offering they become the Author of the Outline. To learn more about the Coordinator roles and creating an Outline see How to get started and Create an Outline.
Creating Outlines
Before an Outline can appear in your 'My Outlines' list it must first be created by a staff member in either the Subject Coordinator or Nominal Subject Coordinator role - that person then becomes the current Author of the Outline. Please note that only one (1) Outline can be created per subject offering. Therefore once any Subject Coordinator or Nominal Subject Coordinator creates an Outline, the offering will disappear from the dropdown list in Step 2 of the 'Create New Outline' process of all staff with any Coordinator responsibility for the subject offering however it will appear in their My Outlines list. Those Coordinators who are not the current Author of the Outline, will be able to action Outlines in their 'My Outlines' list depending on the status of the Outline and the access settings (public or private) which have been set by the Author. The Author is able to adjust the access settings via the Edit screen.
