If the Subject Coordinator is located on a campus, it must be included in their Communications Directory entry for automated inclusion within the Campus section of the Outline.

However, if there is no campus available, 'To be advised' will display.

Unknown Subject Coordinator

If a Subject Coordinator for the subject is not listed within the SCMF, the text ‘To be advised’ will appear in the Campus section.  The Outline will pass the Compliance Check with the Subject Coordinator and their contact details as 'To be advised' - however once the Subject Coordinator becomes known, procedures for notifying students which comply with the Academic Manual must be followed.  Refer to the Academic Manual part L6.3 section 1.3.2 Teaching Staff Identification and Contact Details.

When the Coordinator becomes known, the Author must enter the edit screen and click the Data Refresh button to update the Outline with the new data.  If a Data Refresh is performed after the Outline has been QA Approved or Published, the relevant process for a 'variation' applies - however variations to the Coordinator name and contact detail sections are exempt from QA. To learn more see Vary an Outline (including QA Exemptions) and Data Refresh.

Communications Directory

All contact details (except 'Mobile') are drawn from the CSU Communications Directory. Communications Directory entries must be created/updated via an IT Service Desk Request. Subject Coordinators who are employed on a casual basis must log a Service Desk Request to have a Communications Directory entry created.  If a staff member does not have a CSU email account, note this in the Service Desk Request as an email account will need to be created to enable the creation of the entry.
