This section contains the following Autotext which can be edited:
The subject coordinator will be available for student consultation. You will normally be informed of the details of such consultation via your subject site or other methods.
This is a mandatory field and therefore compliance checked - the Subject Outline will not be able to be published if this section is void of information.
If procedures for consultation with the Subject Coordinator are known at the time of publication, the Autotext should be overwritten with these details. This may include whether specified hours or methods for consultation have been set aside. Any additional procedures for making contact with the Subject Coordinator can also be described within the ‘Contact Procedures’ section.
If the Subject Coordinator and/or their consultation procedures become known, the Author must enter the edit screen and author the section. If edits are made after the Outline has been QA Approved or Published, the relevant process for a 'variation' applies - however variations to the Coordinator name and contact detail sections are exempt from QA. To learn more see Vary an Outline (including QA Exemptions) and Data Refresh.
The section entitled 'Other teaching staff consultation procedures' should be utilised to provide students the procedures for consultation with teaching staff other than the Subject Coordinator.
This is a cohort specific section
If an Outline has been created for multiple cohorts, the 'Change Offering' button must be utilised to enable the authoring of consultation procedures for each cohort who will receive the Outline. If the section is a cohort specific section and the Outline has been created for multiple offerings, the section header will be annotated with red text indicating "Changing this section will affect the current offering only." To learn more see Editing an Outline for multiple offerings.
