Please select a date from the datepicker for the exam or indicate that the date is to be advised. One of the two (2) date options must be selected for the exam item to be deemed compliant.
This information may also be used by other CSU systems/processes.

A date must be selected to indicate the date which the examination will be held.
A Date will become void if the 'To be advised' checkbox is selected. Also note that the 'To be advised' checkbox must be deselected to enable selection from the Date datepicker.
Exam date outside the subject offering teaching session, e.g. Year long subjects In some circumstances, a date outside the offering teaching session will need to be selected. For example, an Outline is created for Session 1 of a year long subject however exam dates will need to be selected for exams held during Session 2 of the year long subject. In this case, upon saving the Exam Item the system will prompt you to confirm your date selection. If indeed you had intended to select a date outside of the teaching session of the offering confirm your selection - if not, return to the Exam Item to amend the date.

To be advised |
An exam date which is unknown while authoring the Outline can be indicated by selecting the 'To be advised' checkbox. This should be selected for exams administered by the Exams Office.
If a Date had been selected from the datepicker it will become void if the 'To be advised' checkbox is selected. Also note that the 'To be advised' checkbox must be deselected to enable selection from the Date datepicker.
