This section must include the grading information for the subject.
Academic Senate regulations relating to Subject Outlines (Academic Manual L6.3 - section 1.3.6 Grading Information) state:
a) how the marks or grades for the various assessment tasks are conflated to determine a final grade in the subject;
b) where scaling may be used, a statement that the raw aggregate marks might be scaled so that the grade distribution for the subject conforms to Faculty guidelines. This statement need not specify the scaling mechanism; and
c) where norm referencing is applied at Faculty, School and subject level, the assumptions that will inform the grade distribution and scaling process (for example, information about the grade distribution which the Faculty is seeking to achieve).
