My Outlines

The My Outlines screen provides Coordinators and Authors the hub from which to create and manage Outlines.

 

 

The 'My Outlines' list

The 'My Outlines' list provides the following columns of information.

 

Name

The working title or naming convention of the Outline

Linked Subject Offering/s

A list of all subject offerings for which the Outline was created

Status

The Outline's phase of development - see Outline Development Process for status information

Roles

Click the 'person' icon to display a list of staff with Subject Coordinator, Nominal Subject Coordinator or QA Officer responsibility for all the linked subject offering/s as per the SCMF

 

 

'My Outlines' Functionality

The 'My Outlines' list provides the following functionality.

 

Create New Outline

Click the 'Create New Outline' button to initiate the process for creating a new Outline

View / Edit / Delete / Clone

Click anywhere on the Outline row to display the pop-up menu. Select either View, Edit, Delete or Clone from the pop-up menu - see figure below.  Menu options depend on permission levels - refer to Your 'My Outlines' List for roles and permissions information

Roles

Click on the icon to see the current Author of the Outline; plus a list of staff with Subject Coordinator,Nominal Subject Coordinator and QA Officer responsibility for the subject offering/s as per the SCMF. The current Author is also provided a function to handover their Author role to any listed person who has a Coordinator role for all linked subject offerings. To learn more see Change Author.

Sort

Click on either the 'Name', 'Status' or 'Roles' column header to sort.  To sort by multiple columns hold 'Shift' key while clicking desired column headers.

Show Items

Select the number of Outlines you wish to 'Show' per page from the dropdown menu, use the single arrows to navigate between pages and the double arrows to skip to the first or last page.

 

The example above depicts an Author taking action on an Outline in 'draft' status.
