If any staff (in addition to the Subject Coordinator) responsible for teaching the subject were introduced within the ‘Other teaching staff’ section, their contact details must be provided here as relevant, i.e.:
| ▪ | Email (should be provided) |
| ▪ | Phone (should be provided) |
| ▪ | Mobile (as desired) |
| ▪ | Fax (if available) |
| ▪ | Campus (if available) |
| ▪ | Building/room number (if available) |
Consultation procedures should then be authored within the ‘Other teaching staff consultation procedures’ section (i.e. the following section).
If there are not other teaching staff for this subject, this section should be left blank it will not be displayed in the published version of the Subject Outline.
Unknown Teaching Staff
If teaching staff or their contact details are unknown at the time of publishing the Outline, state how students will be informed, e.g. forum, announcement, email, etc. A sample statement may be:
The teaching staff will be available for student consultation. You will be informed of their contact details and procedures for consultation via your subject site or other method.
Once the other teaching staff and their contact details become known, the Author must enter the edit screen and author the section. If edits are made after the Outline has been QA Approved or Published, the relevant process for a 'variation' applies - however variations to the Coordinator name and contact detail sections are exempt from QA. To learn more see Vary an Outline (including QA Exemptions) and Data Refresh.
This is a cohort specific section
If an Outline has been created for multiple cohorts, the 'Change Offering' button must be utilised to enable the authoring of other teaching staff enquiries for each cohort who will receive the Outline. If the section is a cohort specific section and the Outline has been created for multiple offerings, the section header will be annotated with red text indicating "Changing this section will affect the current offering only." To learn more see Editing an Outline for multiple offerings.
