Academic Senate resolved that each Faculty be responsible for their policy on assuring the quality of Subject Outlines. The Quality Assurance component of the Subject Outlines tool (which utilises the QA Officer role) was created to support Faculty processes which uphold their Outline QA policy. Therefore, defining 'quality assurance' in the context of CSU Subject Outlines is the responsibility of each Faculty.

To reiterate, the tool does not prescribe a quality assurance process – the QA Officer role and Quality Assurance component of the tool are designed to assist/enable 'QA Officer/s' to uphold Faculty policy on assuring the quality of an Outline.
