The system Compliance Check performs 'quality control' on the Outline to ensure that mandatory sections are not void of information prior to the Outline being sent for review by a QA Officer in accordance with Faculty Policy.  Academic Regulations on Subject Outlines requires information to be provided within optional sections if relevant to the learning and teaching of the subject.

Editable mandatory sections are marked with a red asterisk * within the Edit screen. Refer to Summary of editable mandatory sections. The blue question mark Help icons against each section menu can be clicked to display brief section specific help within a pop-up box.  Click the 'More Help' link within the pop-up help to learn more about whether the section is mandatory and therefore compliance checked.

To learn about mandatory and optional sections refer to your template overview available for download here: Outline Template Overviews.
