The Banner Residential School indicator for an offering is automatically detected by the Subject Outlines tool to ensure:

the appropriate Autotext displays to students, i.e. automated text which indicates that there is or is not a Residential School for the subject; and
if there is a Residential School, that the Author includes further program related information mandated by policy in the following section entitled 'Residential school program'.

Maintenance of Residential School settings

As normal, the Residential School code is maintained by Student Services.  If while authoring an Outline, it is noted that the residential school ‘Autotext’ does not accurately reflect the existence of a Residential School, the Student Services Officer should be contacted by phone (02) 6338 4275 [ext. 84 275] or email lstacker@csu.edu.au. In the event that the Student Services Officer is not available, the Student Services Administration, Contact & Services Manager can be contacted on (02) 6338 6981 [ext. 86 981] to assist coordination of the amendment. Once the data has been updated, the ‘Data Refresh’ function must be utilised to update the Autotext and rules for this section.

Voluntary Workshops

The Banner Residential School code relates to a Residential School only - not a workshop.  If a workshop exists for the subject it must be described elsewhere in the Subject Outline.
