A template consists of editable and non-editable sections. While all sections contain certain menu functions, each editable section menu contains a variety of functions which support and enable the authoring of section content.
All Section Menu Functions

Click the blue question mark Help icon against each section to display brief section specific help within a pop-up box, also known as 'inline' help. Click the 'More Help' link if you require further information. Click on the cross (X) icon in the top right hand corner of the pop-up to close the Help pop-up box.

Click the speech bubble Section Comment icon to add a comment and display any existing section comments. The speech bubble icon will display a blue marking if comments exist for the section (see left).
The purpose of the Section Comment function is to assist communication between the Author and the QA Officer during the QA process. The Author is able to add / view comments within the Edit screen and the QA Officer is able to add / view comments within the QA Outline screen. All potential QA Officers are able to view Section Comments via the View screen.
To add a Section Comment, input the comment into the Comment Box and click 'Add Comment'. All comments are 'stamped' with the user's name, tool role, date and time.

Editable Section Menu Functions

Click the yellow pencil Edit icon activate the section for editing. Alternatively, hover the mouse over the section content and click on the pink clickable area which appears.
The Manage Assessment screen will open in a new window when the pencil or pink area is clicked within the Assessment Item section. To learn more about the Manage Assessment screen see Edit assessment items.

Click the document icon sporting a green arrow to initiate a search for reusable section content. The Manage Assessment screen includes a 'Reuse Assessment' button.

Tags are keywords which can be added to a section by the Author to enhance retrieval of the content for future reuse. The tag icon will display a blue marking if tags exist for the section (see left).

If a section contains editable Autotext, click the Autotext Refresh icon (blue letter A sporting a green arrow) to revert to the default Autotext. A preview of the default text will display for your confirmation that you wish to refresh the text with the effective default content. If the Outline has been created for multiple offerings, you will also be prompted to select to refresh further offerings as desired. To learn more see Autotext Refresh.
