Working Title

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

A Working Title can be provided during Step 3 of the Create New Outline process. It can also be amended within the Edit screen whiel the Outline has a Draft status - see Working Title & Outline Status for more information.

The Outline name will default to the first selected Subject Offering which can be edited if you wish to customise the Working Title for your easy identification during the Outline's development. You (and other Authors) may also use the Working Title as a search parameter for future retrieval.

Note that once an Outline is deemed 'Ready to Publish', it will split into a distinct Outline for each selected offering and revert to the original offering naming convention.  The naming convention is Subject code + session code + teaching campus + study mode, e.g. ACC100 200970 B D.

Example

In the example below the Author has edited the naming convention to 'SPA405 200970 all modes'.

The Outline can then be identified by this 'working title' during development and until the Author selects the 'Ready to Publish'.

Also, in future any Author may input 'SPA405 200970 all modes' into the 'Working Title' parameter within the 'Search' screen if they wish to retrieve this Outline.
