Continuing Professional Development - School based professional development workshops
CSU is committed to professional development of teaching staff. One of the most common avenues of professional development is School based workshops.
Some examples of School based workshops include:

- Innovative use of technologies in teaching and learning
- Ethics and teaching
- Making the most of library resources
- Adapting teaching styles to a changing environment
- Blended learning
School based workshops contribute to Performance Based Funding which is designed to assist academic staff and Heads of School set priorities for academic activities that are aligned with CSU’s University Strategy. 7.5% of funding is allocated on the basis of Schools meeting performance targets in relation to teaching. Offerings which can be included as part of the Continuing Professional Development in Teaching Criteria will be clearly flagged as such.
