Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education(ASCILITE)

Distance Education is the official  refereed journal of the Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia (ODLAA) Inc. This journal is published twice a year in May and October. ODLAA members receive the journal or direct subscriptions are available. The aim of the journal is to engender and disseminate research and scholarship in distance education, open learning and flexible learning systems. Educational Technology and Society  is the refereed electronic journal of  International Forum of Educational Technology & Society and IEEE Learning Technology Task Force/ Published quarterly (January, April, July and October) its aim is to help educators and educational system developers and artificial intelligence (AI) researchers  better understand each other's role in the overall process of education and how they may support each other.

The Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) refereed journal Higher Education Research and Development   is published three times yearly and includes articles covering all aspects of higher education which seek to improve practice through research, evaluation or scholarly reflection.

International Review of Research in Open & Distance Learning (IRRODL) Tis a referreed journal that carries insightful articles about projects and programs in the flexible learning area. This journal provides documented research into the ways in which learning occurs via flexible delivery modes. The case studies are especially interesting.

Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication is a quarterly electronic, refereed journal which disseminates information about computer-mediated communication to the communication community at large, as well as to those interested individuals.

OpenPraxis is the international journal of  the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), the global membership organisation of educational institutions, national and regional associations, corporations, educational authorities and agencies in the fields of open learning, distance education, and flexible, lifelong learning. Open Praxis is distributed twice yearly free of charge to all ICDE members and provides information on world wide developments in the field of open learning and distance education as well as a forum for communication among members, and opportunities for publishing scholarly papers.

ultiBASE promotes the improvement of tertiary teaching and learning. There is a peer reviewed journal, a large resource section with links to journals on education, a diary containing information on tertiary teaching and learning conferences, seminars and workshops which are being held in Australia and overseas.

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. Membership is open to institutions of higher education, corporations serving the higher education information technology market, and other related associations and organizations. EDUCAUSE programs include professional development activities, print and electronic publications, strategic policy initiatives, research, awards for leadership and exemplary practices, and a wealth of online information services. It focuses on the management and use of computational, network, and information resources in support of higher education's missions of scholarship, instruction, service, and administration.
