As one of Australia's largest providers of online learning, it's no surprise that high quality, innovative online learning experiences are central to what we do at CSU. It is a vibrant space where we are constantly challenging, learning and extending our shared practices, while also celebrating the excellent online practices and innovations already happening right across our institution.
At the centre of CSU's approach to online learning is the Online Learning Model (OLM), a set of elements designed to increase student engagement, retention and overall satisfaction. The OLM aligns with, and is supported by, a set of Quality Learning and Teaching Standards for online learning, and forms a foundation for the Transform Online Learning strategic focus in the University's direction for 2017-2022.
The Learning Online Unit in the Division of Learning and Teaching is leading a major initiative towards quality improvement within CSU's Online programs. This initiative is being driven by the Online Learning team working to instil best practice across all faculties and the u!magine Digital Learning Innovation Laboratory which is taking the lead regarding innovation in online learning. This work is also strongly supported by other Units within the Division.
