Learning Commons - Bathurst
In 2007, stage one of the Bathurst Learning Commons opened for business. Stage one is a 24-hour space which includes a range of computing, printing and photocopying facilities, study spaces, an Assistive Technology room, toilets, vending machines and the Commons Caf??.
Planning has begun for stage two of the Bathurst Learning Commons with construction work likely to begin in early 2011. Watch this space for updates on this project.

24 Hour Zone:

After Library Hours: A current CSU ID card is required to access the Bathurst Library Commons
- Place your CSU card in front of the Proximity Reader to the right of the automatic doors. Please note you need to present your card to a proximity card reader to exit the area
- No card is required to access the Commons or the Library during Library hours
Student Central Support:
- Student Central staff are available to answer ALL your questions in the Learning Commons.

- Communal space for individual and collaborative study in an informal and comfortable setting
- 24-hour access and security monitoring

- Caf?? (Opening Mon-Thur 8.30am - 3.00pm, Fri 8:30am ??? 12:00 noon) and vending machines for coffee and tempting treats

Security
The Bathurst Learning Commons is a secure place to work. The access system after-hours only allows CSU Students and staff to access and is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
Large monitors display the CCTV security feeds, so Learning Commons users can observe what is happening around them. Security Officers patrol this area.
