Aiming to achieve a vibrant and student-focussed learning space, the University has succeeded in its intention of harmoniously blending different environments, functions and user groups in a building designed with sustainability and environmental responsibility in mind. In terms of the physical layout, areas for related student activities complement the Library's extensive collection.

After Library Hours: A current CSU ID card is required to access the Thurgoona Library Commons
- Place your CSU card in front of the Proximity Reader to the left of the automatic doors.
- No card is required to access the Commons or the Library during Library hours
Student Central Support:
- Student Central staff are available to answer ALL your questions in the Learning Commons.

Security
The Thurgoona Learning Commons is a secure place to work. The access system after-hours only allows CSU Students and staff to access and is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
Large monitors display the CCTV security feeds, so Learning Commons users can observe what is happening around them. Security Officers patrol this area.
