Community Borrowers - Workplace Learning Supervisors

Who Can Register as a Workplace Learning Supervisor?
In recognition of Workplace Learning Supervisors' contribution to the development of CSU's students, the Division of Library Services is offering an honorary membership to the current principal supervisor, or staff who play a significant role in being responsible for the supervision, of CSU students on Workplace Learning.

Supervisors are offered access to the Library's physical collections through the Community Borrowing scheme for a period of six months. This scheme will entitle you to borrow items in person from any CSU Campus Library situated in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, or Wagga Wagga.

How Do I Register as a Workplace Learning Supervisor?

Applications can only be processed during Library opening hours.

Steps to Register

  • Heads of Schools or Officers in charge of Workplace Learning programs within CSU are required to authorise that supervisors are currently working with CSU students.
  • Once the form has been signed and approved by the relevant School. You will need to take the completed Library Membership Form and passport style photo to the Library along with photographic identification.
  • When your CSU ID card has been processed by Student Central you will be able to access the Library. CSU cards are not processed immediately, they will be available for collection in three working days.
  • Create your CSU user name and password by going to the Activate my account link. The CSU user name and password will allow you to place requests on library material and access My Library Record. Your password will need to be updated every 60 days.

Your CSU Library card is not transferable to any other person.

Borrowers are required to observe the Terms and Conditions of use of the CSU Card and for borrowing at CSU. It is each borrower's responsibility to make themselves aware of the Rule of the Library, copies of which are available on the Library website.
