Strengthening Community Networks - Regional Schools Program
Strengthening community networks is a key component of the Learning and Teaching Strategy of Charles Sturt University. One way that CSU Library contributes to community networks is by building and developing relationships with local schools.
Launched in 2005, CSU Library's Schools program has now grown to include over 30 secondary colleges and high schools in NSW and Victoria. The program provides senior students from participating schools with free access to a vast array of books and AV material, as well as a “walk-in” access to a range of online databases providing full-text journal articles (see the article in this newsletter).
Details of schools that participate in this exciting partnership can be found at CSU Library's List of Agreements.
For participating schools, an information guide and registration details for students is available from the Library's webpage on School Borrowers.
Anyone from a school wishing to join the scheme should email janmurphy@csu.edu.au for further information.
