Sustainability at CSU
The SWP works closely with CSU Green, as well as the Division of Facilities Management and many other areas of the University.
Targets
The CSU Institutional Development Plan refers to the following targets:
- to reduce energy use (compared with 2006) by 10% by 2011 and by 25% by 2015;
- to be greenhouse neutral by 2015;
- to reduce water use by 25% by 2011;
- to have 10% of University land used to increase biodiversity by 2011 and 20% by 2015;
- to increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle fleet; and;
- to cooperate with communities toward sustainability.
These targets have been adopted by CSU Green and the Library.
