The Indian Biography Database (INDBIO), produced by the School of Politics, La Trobe University, Melbourne, is a database containing details of the members of India's lower-house (the Lok Sabha) of Parliament elected between 1977 and 1991. The database includes biographical information provided by the members of parliament, and includes death dates, references to obituary notices, and notes about recent events in legislators' careers.

INDBIO provides a comprehensive dictionary of the men and women who have been India's legislators since 1977. Five general elections have been held in that period. Coverage 1977 - April 1996.

Records in INDBIO include fields for elements such as personal name, religion, date of birth, political party and the parliaments in which a person served.

This database represents the collections of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission Library and covers Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander studies, stolen generation, removal of children, arts, copyright issues, racism, discrimination, internet & telecommunications facilities, and communities.

Source documents/material includes articles, speeches, conference papers, books and book chapters, parliamentary information, cases and judgements, internet material, and videos.

Date coverage varies with the type of material.

The Indigenous Studies Bibliography (AIATSIS), compiled by Pat Brady, Barry Cundy and Alana Garwood at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Library, is a bibliographic database that indexes published and unpublished material on Australian Indigenous studies.

Source documents include journal articles, newspapers, pamphlets, published government reports, published conference papers, book chapters, books, discussion and working papers, and published statistical documents. Coverage 1990 - .

Subject coverage: All records relate to Australian Indigenous studies, and are in English with some in Australian Indigenous languages. The broad topic areas cover languages, cultures, anthropology, archaeology, health, education, arts, oral histories, history, legal issues such as native title, criminal justice, land rights, customary law and its recognition, women's issues, youth issues, government policies and programs. The records provided are not exhaustive.

The Indonesian Learned Periodicals Database (PDIP), produced by the Center for Scientific Documentation and Information - Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PDII-LIPI), is a bibliographic database that indexes articles and conference proceedings on the sciences in Indonesia, as well as seminar papers on science and technology that were organised in Indonesia.

Coverage: PDIP indexes more than 1,280 journals ranging from the humanities and social sciences, physical sciences, and pure and applied sciences. Coverage 1980 - April 1998.

PDIP reflects the function of the Center for Scientific Documentation and Information at the Institute of Sciences, namely to collect Indonesian scientific publications, to document activities of scientific publications on Indonesia, to develop a national scientific bibliographical database, and to provide scientific and technical information (STI) services.

NB: PDIP data is mostly in Indonesian, except for the subject terms contained in the "Subject" type fields, which are in English.

The Indonesian Research Report Database (PDIR), produced by the Center for Scientific Documentation and Information - Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PDII-LIPI), is a bibliographic database that indexes research reports and survey reports in Indonesia.

PDIR reflects the function of the Center for Scientific Documentation and Information at the Institute of Sciences, namely to collect Indonesian scientific publications, to document activities of scientific publications on Indonesia, to develop a national scientific bibliographical database, and to provide scientific and technical information (STI) services. Informaworld is a one-stop site hosting the full text of more than 1000 eJournals published by Taylor & Francis, Routledge, Psychology Press, Lawrence Erlbaum, Haworth Press, and Multilingual Matters, as well as citations from hundreds of other journals.

Prior to May 2009, CSU Library had access to only the full-text of the Routledge collection of education journals, but now has access to a much wider collection of journals covering a range of subject areas.

One of the benefits of Informaworld to CSU users is that it closes the “embargo” gap for a large number of eJournals already available via EBSCOhost: that is, it provides the full-text of recent issues of journals which are not available (for the most recent 12 months) in EBSCOhost.

The collection works like a database and offers a range of browse, search, and saved search options.

A standard search will return results that are both citation-only and full-text. SFX links are NOT available in this database, but users can limit their searches to (predominantly) full-text results by ticking the “My subscriptions only” box.

Informit Online is a set of mainly Australian databases containing indexes, and some with full text material, in a wide range of subjects, including Business, Science, Health, Social sciences, Computing, Education, and Religion.

These databases can be searched individually or in combination.

Ingenta is a database of current article summaries from more than 20,000 multidisciplinary journals with links to the full text of over 4,500 titles. The database can be searched for free.

CSU subscribes to a limited number of full-text journals via Ingenta.

For journals to which CSU does not subscribe, users can, for the majority of articles, choose a pay-per-view option, with electronic, fax, or Ariel delivery from Ingenta.

INTAN MAS, produced by the Northern Territory University Library, is a bibliographic database containing references to the literature on East Timor and Eastern Indonesia, on Australia's relations with South-East Asia, and with ASEAN and its member nations (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar).

Source documents: The database facilitates the identification and location of materials on the region. It comprises bibliographic references to books, journal articles and dissertations. Named INTAN MAS (Bahasa Indonesia for diamond and gold) the title is also an acronym for its coverage:

INTAN MAS is limited to the languages of Western Europe and Bahasa Indonesia. It is also selective in the areas of colonial and present day government reports. New records are continually being added to the database. Coverage 1989 - .

The International Children’s Digital Library provides free access to children’s books from around the world. It archives literature expressly for 3 to 13 year olds and is fully searchable. The ICDL aims to ultimately make 10,000 titles available and has as one of its goals to expose children to “new and foreign ideas” to help them understand the world around them and the global society in which they live. As well as children, intended users include parents, librarians, teachers and researchers of children’s literature.

IIPA is a performing arts database covering film, theatre, and dance. A total of 258 journals are indexed and, of these, 95 are available in full-text.

Database features include: searching for articles or journals; browsing journals alphabetically, by subject, or by full-text availability; the capacity to search for peer-reviewed articles, and to sort results by relevance; a “My Archive” feature; and RSS feeds.

Coverage goes back to 1864! and the database is updated monthly.

There is no limit to the number of CSU users who can access this database at the same time.

International Taxation Issues Database (INTAX), produced by Information Services at the Australian Taxation Office, is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts published material on taxation aspects of international profit shifting and related taxation topics from 1990 onwards.

Source documents are journal articles from over 60 Australian and international journals. Records include legislative references and case citations.

Subject coverage includes tax planning, avoidance and evasion, transfer pricing, foreign source income, electronic commerce, and consumption taxes.
