Maternity and Infant Care is a resource for academics and healthcare professionals involved in the care of women and infants.

The database indexes more than 550 international English language journals, and contains over 120,000 references. These include journal article citations and abstracts, plus references to books, relating to pregnancy, labour, birth, neonatal care, postnatal care, and the first year of an infant's life.

Coverage is from the mid-1980s onward, and approximately 1000 records are added per month.

The Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei/ASEAN Database (BERITA), produced by the staff of the Southeast Asia Collection/Malaysian Resource Center, Ohio University, is a bibliographic database that indexes articles from published and unpublished material that concern Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, or South- East Asia as a whole (when the foci countries are included). Also included are materials regarding the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Source documents are monographs, journal articles, articles in books and conference papers. Coverage 1990 - .

Management and Environment Information (MEDGE), produced by Information Edge, is an Australian bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles on management issues for business and government.

Subject coverage includes: international economies; the Australian economy; strategic and financial management; TQM; human resources; marketing; materials handling; innovation; and environmental management, such as recycling and litter control.

MEDGE is a selection from the LISARD database, which is also produced by Information Edge. Source documents include approximately 100 journals.

Coverage 1985 - July 2006. In July 2006 this database merged with the EDGE database, also available to CSU users via Informit.

Margaret Gee's Australian Media Guide is a directory of the major Australian media outlets, including: television and radio stations; internet media; newspapers, newsletters, and magazines; and press agencies . It includes profiles and contact listings as well as circulation figures, publication details and base advertising rates.

The directory has a relatively simple search functionality, but also provides lists of media outlets (by various categories), and of media contacts (by print and radio/tv). These lists are in spreadsheet format.

The directory is updated every 4 months.

Contains the full text of aproximately 2000 periodicals, including indexing and abstracts for nearly 2,650 titles. Full text titles are available in HTML full-text or (searchable) PDF format. Coverage varies, with some full text backfiles from 1975- .

Media Scan is a bibliographic database featuring articles indexed from daily newspapers, and is specifically designed for students and researchers in Australian Secondary schools, TAFE Institutes and Universities. Media Scan has been indexing newspapers since September 1991. Each article is allocated subject headings, but it was not until the start of 1996, that the articles were given SCIS Subject Headings.

Media Scan was originally developed to assist students prepare for VCE Cat1. Over a period of time Media Scan incorporated many more articles covering a wider range of subjects, and so introduced interstate papers into the database. Coverage 1991 - .

Meditext is an Australian indexing and full text database with access to scanned images of journal articles on all aspects of health and medicine, with an emphasis on clinical medicine and paraprofessional fields.

Other source documents include conference proceedings, government reports, selected books, and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) session reports (to 1996).

The Mental Measurements Yearbook, produced by the Buros Institute, contains full text information about and reviews of all English-language standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas as included in the printed Mental Measurements Yearbooks.

MIMS Online is the web version of the MIMS prescribing information for pharmaceuticals available in Australia. It contains both abbreviated prescribing information, which is equivalent to the MIMS Bi-Monthly (a paper product), and full prescribing information, which is equivalent to the MIMS Annual (a paper product). It also contains product images, and consumer medicines information (MIMS CMI).

The database offers access to information on over 4,500 prescription and non-prescription drugs.

MIMS Online has full search capabilities on either a single value or across multiple or advanced search criteria. It also allows browsing of the product information by Therapeutic Class. Other database features include a Favourites List of pharmaceutical products, and management of most recent search results.

The database is updated several times a year.

Multicultural Australia and Immigration Studies - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Subset (MAIS-ATSIS) is a subset of the MAIS database, produced by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) Library. MAIS indexes and abstracts a wide range of media from published and unpublished material on all aspects of Australian immigration and multicultural issues. MAIS-ATSIS covers multicultural issues that specifically relate to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Subjects include immigration, emigration, multiculturalism, ethnicity, racism, multicultural education, migrant health, welfare and social services, access and equity, settlement services, refugees, population studies, and aboriginal studies. Some international material is included. From August 1996 the focus has narrowed to Australian material only.
