An experimental research service of the Digital Library Research group at Old Dominion University, ARC is used to investigate issues in harvesting OAI compliant repositories and making them accessible through a unified search interface. It is not a production service and may be subject to unscheduled service interruptions and anomalies.
ARC is a meta search service for ePrint or institutional archives based on the Open Archives Initiative (OAI). Metadata is collected from a number of archives and links to the archived documents are included.
ePrint or institutional archives based on the Open Archives Initiative (OAI) provide free access to the full text of a wide range of resources. These can include pre-refereed preprints of journal articles, refereed journal articles, conference papers, and institutional reports.
