Communication & Mass Media Complete provides quality research in areas related to communication and mass media. CMMC incorporates the content of CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State) along with numerous other journals in communication, mass media, and other closely-related fields of study. CMMC offers cover-to-cover (“core”) indexing and abstracts for more than 460 journals, and selected (“priority”) coverage of nearly 200 more, for a combined coverage of more than 660 titles and full text for 350 journals.
The Informit Business Collection provides access to full content from a range of journals, books and reference materials sourced from a variety of Australasian academic and professional associations and research centres. It is a full text database which covers all broad business fields, including: accounting, career development, commercial law, commodities, corporate governance, e-business, economics, employment, human resources, labour, management, marketing, occupational health, taxation, and unions.
The trial extends to December 31, 2008
To celebrate US National Library Week, ebrary is offering librarians and librarianship teachers and students free access to its Library Center for a year. The Library Center includes more than 80 eBooks on a variety of topics relating to librarianship from several contributing publishers, including Emerald Group Publishing, Greenwood Publishing Group, Idea Group, MIT Press, and the Library of Congress. This trial continues until mid-April 2009.
Please note: At present you need an ebrary reader plugin to read ebrary eBooks. The plugin will become accessible on CSU’s public machines in July 2008. Later in 2008 ebrary will move to a Javascript interface that will obviate the need for this plugin.
