ePrint Archives
ePrint or institutional archives provide free access to the full text of a
wide range of resources. These can include pre-refereed preprints of journal
articles, refereed journal articles, conference papers and institutional reports.
Many are discipline based eg Chemistry preprint server, but there are a growing
number of institution based archives eg University of Melbourne ePrints Repository
(UMER).
Archives can be accessed and searched individually, or collectively using
meta search services eg OAIster. These services collect meta data from a number
of archives and include links to archived documents.
