What is Primo Search?
The online help contains information on the following topics:
Primo Search is a discovery tool for the CSU Library's huge collections of resources. A simple search box will bring back results from a number of different sources, including:
- Most of the library's online journal articles and newspaper content
- Books, DVDs, journals and other physical items found in the Library
- Many of the eBooks the Library subscribes to
- CSU research papers and theses in CRO (CSU Research Output)
Tip! It is a good idea to log in to Primo Search before you start searching. This will enable you to place requests for Library material and use more of the functions that are available.
Primo Search is not able to search across all of the resources available to you. The following resources and databases should be searched using the links provided.
- Legal information: Use the CSU Library's Legal Studies Databases
- Company reports: Use these Business Databases
- Statistics: Use CSU Library's Online Reference - Statistics
- Scopus: Use Scopus database
- Web of Science: Use WoS database
