To use all the features of Primo Search, you first need to log in. This will enable you to place requests for Library material and to use more of the functions that are available.
Logging In to Primo Search
You will find the LOG IN link in the top right hand corner of the screen. It is a good idea to log in to Primo Search before you start searching.

Tip! Don't forget to LOG OUT when you are finished to keep your searches and personal information private.
Tip! All students and staff, including those studying by distance education within Australia, need a current CSU card to borrow or request photocopies from the Library.
If you don't have a CSU ID card, you can apply for one using the CSU Student Identification Card form.
Using My Library Record
Once you have logged in to Primo Search, My Library Record enables you to view the contents of your library record and perform library services, such as renewing a book or cancelling a request. In addition, it lets you define your personal settings so you can choose settings such as default language and number of search results per page.

Using My Folder
Using My Folder allows you to save and organise items that you find while using Primo Search so you can go back to them later.
To add items to your folder, click on the folder icon next to the resource.

If you log in to Primo Search, you can save the items to My Folder for future sessions.
Tip! Saving items to My Folder is not the same as requesting them. To request items, you must click on the Availability tab, and choose Request.
