Understanding Your Search Results

Availability Tab

The Availability tab lists the locations that hold this item, and, if you have logged into Primo Search, allows you to place requests for loans or photocopies if that option is available to you.

If more than one campus holds an item, you will need to click on the + symbol to see more details.

Reviews & Tags Tab

The Reviews & Tags tab allows you to post reviews and add your own tags to an item. To post reviews and add tags you will need to LOG IN to your record.

To post a review click on Post Your Review, and enter your comments – making sure that you adhere to the Student Charter. Agree to the conditions and click on Submit.

The Tags function allows you to add tags to a record that you can search on at a later date. For example if you are putting together a list of items, add a Tag to these items and search for this list using this tag. You can also access the Tag through My Library Record.

To add a Tag, click on Add New Tag. Add a new tag or add an existing tag and click on Save. When you want to search for you tags, you can type the tag in the Primo Search box.

Tip! Tags can take a couple of hours to attach to a record, if you aren't able to search on them straight away, try again the next day.
