Frequently Asked Questions
- Borrowing and Requesting - Find out all you need to know about borrowing and requesting items.
- Request a Book or Copy - Would you like to request a book or (photo)copy from the CSU Collection? Copies are scanned to your email.
- Check "My Library Record" in the Catalogue - Use the Library Catalogue to view your Loans, Loan history list, Hold requests, Photo requests and Cash transactions.
- Renew or Extend Loans - You may be able to extend the loan period on a book or item if it is not overdue. Follow these instructions.
- Find an item in Catalogue - Use different search strategies to find Library Resources.
- Find a Journal or Article - If you have a citation or reference to an article, you can search the catalogue for the Journal (not article) title. You can select the Journals catalogue or search the Full catalogue using “title begins with” from the drop-down menu.
- Using the "eShelf" in the Catalogue - Your eShelf can save a list of your search results from the Library catalogue. Sign-in if you want to keep the list permanently.
- Using SFX - What is SFX and what does it do? Find out about SFX services for Electronic Journals and links to print versions on the shelf.
