eReserve/subject reserve
What is Reserve/eReserve/subject reserve?
Reserve, eReserve or Subject Reserve refers to materials that lecturers have requested be made available for all students to support their subject. It can mean scanned articles or book chapters that are made available online through Primo Search (eReserve), or high demand print material that is held at the Library loans desk and can be borrowed for two hours use in the library only.

For further information please see:

How do I find out if my lecturer has put anything on reserve for my subject?
Enter your subject code (ie PSY101) into the search box in Primo Search and click on Search
According to my lecturer, there should be material on reserve for my subject, why can't I find anything?
Double check by using the Primo Search Advanced Search for your lecturer's name by choosing "Lecturer" from the Any Field drop down menu, or for some keywords from the book or article if you know them, as there can be data entry errors.

If not, it could be that copyright requirements have required the material to be removed from Reserve for a period of time, or the material is not due to be added until the beginning of the session or a particular week during the session.

I'm an academic, how do I arrange for material to be added to Reserve?
Information about this is available on our Reserve for Academics pages.
