Pay Library Fines

NOTE: Students enrolled through the Ontario (Burlington) Campus, please contact your Campus Librarian for details of the Loans Policy applicable to you.

You can pay library fines in a number of different ways:

Online via my.csu

  1. Go to my.csu.
  2. In Quick Links, click Personal Info then click Online Payments, which will open the Secure Student Payments website
    • If the fine is invoiced, click on View and Pay for All Charges
    • If the fine is not invoiced click on Make an additional Payment, Order Goods/Services or Pay for Printing/Internet Charges
  3. At the bottom of the page you'll see Make an additional payment to your account details not showing. Type Library Fine in the Description box and enter the amount you want to pay in the Amount Box
  4. Click on the cart icon (Shopping Cart)
  5. Next click on View or PAY for Cart contents
  6. When you get the Description of the payment & the amount you need to pay
  7. Click on Pay Now button to proceed with the transaction

Credit Card Payments

Authority may be given by fax, mail, online or in person only; credit card payments are not accepted by phone.  When making credit card payments by fax please use the credit card payment form available at:  www.csu.edu.au/division/finserv/paym/payment.htm

BPAY

You can pay via BPAY only through the University cashier if you have received an invoice notice sent by Finance Department - details will be included on invoice notice.

At the Cashiers Office

Payments can be made in person at all campus Finance Cashiers by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card. Further information can be found on the Financial Services web site

By mail

If sending your payment by mail, please enclose a copy of the fine notice with your cheque or money order payable to Charles Sturt University. Address it to your Campus Library and mark it to the attention of the Fines Officer.

At the Library

You can pay cash in person at all campus Libraries (except Orange). 

Note: Options for cash payments in libraries are currently subject to review

Please note that it is your responsibility to know when the items you have borrowed are due back. Overdue Notices are sent as a reminder after your items have already started accruing fines.

It is your responsibility to check your record regularly.
