- How do I borrow from the Library?
- To borrow from the Library all staff are required to obtain a current CSU ID card.
- Can casual Academic and General staff join the Library?
- Yes, your School/Faculty or Division will have to ensure that either a Casual General Staff form or Casual Academic Staff form have been completed.
- Can I access online collections?

- How many items can I borrow?
- Academics (including casual academics) / General Staff - 40
Casual General staff - 20 - How long can I borrow a book / puppet / kit / game?
- 28 days
- Can I renew a loan of a book/puppet/kit/game?
- Yes, up to 4 times
- How long can I borrow DVDs and videos?
- 14 days
- Can I renew a loan of a DVD or video?
- Yes, 1 time
- Can items be sent to my home address?

Yes, if you are a registered CSU off-campus staff member
- Am I eligible for Interlibrary loans?
- Academics (including casual academics) - Yes, FRILLS
General staffNo - Can I borrow from other Australian universities?
- Yes, refer to the ULA website
- When will my Library card expire?
- Casual and Contract Staff - Your card expiry date will be either the 30th June or 31st December, unless another expiry date is provided.
Permanent Staff - Your card will remain active whilst you are employed at CSU.
