- Can I access online collections?
- Yes. Online journal databases and eBooks are available to you. You can access these and other online resources from the Find information link on the library homepage.
- Can I request copies of book chapters and journal articles that are only available in print form?

Yes. Requests for copies can be made online through Primo Search. Copies will be scanned and sent to your email address. For more information on how to do this:

- Do I need a Library card to borrow from the Library?
- To borrow from the Library all students (excluding Offshore and Overseas DE students), require a current CSU ID card.
- Can items be sent to my home address?

- Does the Library post books to DE students living overseas?

Yes, the Library will post books to DE students living overseas who are currently enrolled through an Australian CSU campus. The Library will only lend books and does not include short term loans and Audio Visual (AV) items such as games, test kits, puppets, Interlibrary book loans, videos and DVDs. Library books cannot be requested from CSU campuses at St. Marks, and Ontario.
Please note: This service does not extend to students studying through CSU Offshore partner and affiliated institutions.
- How will books be sent to me?
- Library items will be delivered by Australia Post to domestic students and Australia Post International Courier Service to Overseas DE students.
- Do I have to pay for items to be sent to me?

The Library will pay the postage cost to send items out.
Return postage service for Distance Education students living in Australia is free. A postage paid return address label will be included in each DE postage parcel sent by the Library. This label can simply be affixed to each parcel when posting back to the Library.
The return postage service does not include items borrowed through the InterLibrary Loans scheme and does not extend to DE students living outside of Australia.
Library items should be returned in padded envelopes.
- What are the borrowing and renewing conditions?

- Can I make use of the Learning Commons on campus?
- If you are close to a CSU campus, you are encouraged to make full use of the Learning Commons facilities which are available at Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst and Orange campuses.
Learning Commons are more than just a library and offer a range of services and facilities including the Student Central, Cashier and 24 Hour spaces. The 24 hour space provides 'round the clock' computing, print/copy and study spaces for your convenience. - Am I eligible for Interlibrary loans?

Yes, but there is a charge.
Please note: DE students living outside of Australia are not eligible to receive Interlibrary book loans, but copy requests can be delivered electronically worldwide, charges may apply.
- Can I borrow from other Australian universities?
- Yes. The University Library Australia and New Zealand (ULANZ) National Borrowing Scheme is available to CSU students. This is a national borrowing scheme for staff and students of Australian Universities. Please refer to the ULANZ website for more information.
Please note: DE students living outside of Australia are not eligible
- How do I get help?
- The Library website provides a number of online guides and tutorials to assist you search for information and find out how to use Library services. You can also utilise the Live Chat, toll free phone number, Library Forum, or Ask A Question form to contact a Librarian, or, if you are on campus, please come into the Learning Commons.
