The University has a Site Licence for the Windows X1.0.1 and Mac X1 versions of EndNote. It is available for download and installation on all CSU computers, and can be accessed on Campus from staff offices and the student computer labs.
Note: If you are upgrading from a previous version of Endnote and have created any custom referencing (output) styles or filters, you will need to copy these files to a temporary location before installing EndNote X1.

CSU staff who download and install EndNote on a University computer may find that the EndNote toolbar does not appear in Word.
This step-by-step guide to configuring EndNote, produced by the DIT, should fix this problem. If the EndNote toolbar does still not appear in Word after you have configured EndNote, please contact the IT Service Desk.
The Library has created an EndNote connection file that can be used to search the CSU Library Catalogue from within EndNote the latest version of which can be downloaded and saved to your computer.
Note: This connection file is included by default when EndNote is installed on CSU computers.

The default version of the APA 5th output style distributed with the Windows X1.0.1 version of EndNote includes an error in the template for 'Electronic article' reference type. The following modified version of the APA 5th output style can be downloaded and saved to your computer.
Note: This modified APA 5th output style is included by default when EndNote is installed on CSU computers.
The following Vitis Vea filter has been created for importing records from the Vitis-Vea (Viticulture and Enology Abstracts) database can be downloaded and saved to your computer.
