EndNote @ CSU - Search the library catalogue with EndNote

The Library has created an EndNote connection file that can be used to search the CSU Library Catalogue from within EndNote; the latest version of which can be downloaded and saved to your computer. This connection file should already be available with the software installed on CSU computers.

  1. Close EndNote
  2. Download the Charles_Sturt_University.enz connection file
  3. Save the file to the ..\EndNote X1\Connections\ folder
  4. Restart EndNote

Searching the catalogue:

  1. Open EndNote library
  2. Select Tools, then Online Search, and New Search to display the list of connection files available in the EndNote../Connections folder
  3. Highlight Charles Sturt University and click on the Choose button
  4. Enter your search terms in the remote search dialog box, and click on Search button
  5. Click on OK to Retrieve References From: # to ##
  6. Highlight required records from the Library Catalogue at Charles Sturt University window, holding down the Ctrl or shift keys to select multiple records
  7. Click on Copy # References To button to copy the selected records to the required EndNote library

Records will be copied to the selected EndNote library using the Book reference type.
