Books@Ovid Linking

Links for Books@Ovid are made for specific chapters within a title.  Once the user has clicked on the link to the chapter, they can then navigate through the rest of the title using the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.

Create a link to a Chapter within a Books@Ovid ebook

  1. Search Books@Ovid for the book you want to link to.
  2. Click the "Ovid Full Text" link to the right of the record. Or, if you are browsing through a list of books, click the title of the book.
  3. Click the "Email Jumpstart" link at the top-right of the record. (see image below)

  4. Copy the URL in the "Your Jumpstart URL is:" box. (see image below)

  5. Paste this URL into the "Jumpstart URL" box below.
  6. Click "Create Link".
  7. Your complete link will appear in the "Complete Link" box. If you want to test the complete link to make sure it works, click "Test Link", otherwise, copy the link and paste it into your document or webpage.
