Create a link to an ebrary eBook

To link to an ebrary title, locate the book you want by searching through ebrary or you can use Primo Search. With the book open in your web browser, simply highlight and copy the link in your browser's address bar (see below):

You can now paste the link into your subject pages or document.

Create a link to a chapter within an ebrary eBook

To create a link to a chapter in an ebrary eBook, follow the steps below:

  1. Search for the required book in the ebrary database
  2. While still in the results list, click on the Table of Contents tab (see image below)
  3. The table of contents will expand (see image below)

  4. Click on the required chapter. This will open the relevant chapter in the eBook, in your browser
  5. Take note of the page number in the brackets at the top of the screen. You need the first number in the brackets, NOT the number in the box. (see image below)
  6. Highlight and copy the URL in your browser’s address bar
  7. Paste this URL into the URL box below
  8. Enter the page number you noted into the Page Number Box below
  9. Click on Create Link
  10. Your complete link will appear in the "Complete Link" box. If you want to test the complete link to make sure it works, click "Test Link", otherwise, copy the link and paste it into your document or webpage
