Oxford Reference Online Linking

Create a link to an Oxford eBook

Links to ORO can be made at any level. For example, you can create a link at the topic level, such as "Literature", or you can make a link down to the title level, such as "The Concise Oxford Companion to Classical Literature".

  1. Open Oxford Reference Online.
  2. Go to the level you want to link to.
  3. Copy the link from your browser’s address bar. (see image below)
  4. Paste this link into the "ORO Link" box below.
  5. Click "Create Link".
  6. Your complete link will appear in the "Complete Link" box. If you want to test the complete link to make sure it works, click "Test Link", otherwise, copy the link and paste it into your document or webpage.
