PsycBOOKS Linking

Links for PsycBOOKS are made to the table of contents, or to a point in the table of contents, by searching for and finding a specific chapter or section.  Once the user has the chapter they wish to link to, they can then click on ‘Table of Contents’ in the right-hand navigation window and create a link to that point in the table of contents for that book.

Create a link to the table of contents for a PsycBOOKS title

1. Conduct a search in PsycBOOKS and locate the book section that you want to link to.
2. Click on the "Table of Contents" link to the right of the record.
3. At the top of the record to the right of the screen, click on the "Email Jumpstart" link.

4. On the next page, locate, highlight, right click and copy the URL located in the "Your Jumpstart URL is" box.

5. Paste the copied URL into the "Jumpstart URL" box below.
6. Click "Create Link".
7. Your complete link will appear in the "Complete Link" box. If you want to test the complete link to make sure it works, click "Test Link", otherwise, copy the link and paste it into your document or webpage.

To copy the link: click "Highlight Link" then press "CTRL" + "C".
