Safari Books Online Linking

Create a link to a Safari eBook

1. Search Safari Books Online for the book you want to link to.
2. Click the title of the book next to the picture of the book’s cover.
3. Copy the link from your browser’s address bar. (see image below)

4. Paste this link into the "Safari Link" box below.
5. Click "Create Link".
6. Your complete link will appear in the "Complete Link" box. If you want to test the complete link to make sure it works, click "Test Link", otherwise, copy the link and paste it into your document or webpage.

To copy the link: click "Highlight Link" then press "CTRL" + "C".

Create a link to a Safari eBook Chapter

1. Search Safari Books Online for the chapter you want to link to.
2. Click the title of the book next to the picture of the book’s cover.
3. In the Table of Contents on the left side of the screen, click on the chapter you wish to link to. (see image below)

4. Copy the link in your browser’s address bar. (see image below)

5. Paste this link into the "Safari Link" box below.
6. Click "Create Link".
7. Your complete link will appear in the "Complete Link" box. If you want to test the complete link to make sure it works, click "Test Link", otherwise, copy the link and paste it into your document or webpage.
