Faculty Liaison Services - Training

Training for Staff and Postgraduates

Individual one-on-one training in the use of library resources can be requested via Book-a-librarian.

These courses assist with:

Learning how to set up email and RSS alerts for selected journals through advanced database training.
ERA support through journal impact factors and research journals.
Use of EndNote to manage references, and associated PDF copies of articles; and produce reference lists in a range of standard and custom styles.
Creation of links to online electronic resources for use in online subjects (Interact).

Book a Librarian

Researchers can use the Book a Librarian form to book a one-on-one consultation with a librarian to develop their research information skills. The modules, offering a range of competencies, can be selected individually or in any combination.

Undergraduate Training

Subject coordinators and lecturers wanting to organise trainings sessions for groups of undergraduate students should contact the Library information staff via the "Ask us" phone number for their local campus (see the CSU Library Contacts page), or the Library Information Literacy Coordinator (see below).
