Reserve for Academics - Scanning eReserve items

Where a requested eReserve item is a fulltext article in one of the library databases, the requestor will be offered a link to add to their Interact site or Subject Forum as an alternative to the library cataloguing the item to eReserve. This option provides a faster service and is a once-only task, as links can be maintained permanently this way, while copyright law prevents permanent maintenance of items in eReserve.

Our licence agreements with electronic publishers prohibit us from scanning paper copies of electronic journals and including them in eReserve.

PDF files

All eReserve items should be processed by the Division of Learning & Teaching Services (LTS) who will scan and pass the file to the library for cataloguing and loading to eReserve. If your item is already in PDF format please send direct to the Library's Reserve staff.
