Strategic Learning & Teaching Innovation
The Strategic Learning & Teaching Innovation section will:
- Conduct detailed analysis of the external and internal environment to recommend strategic directions in provision of learning and teaching services and systems;
- Support a wide variety of learning and teaching innovation projects including, but not exclusively, those involving emergent technologies to provide an effective ICT-integrated learning environment;
- Support the strategic development and effective educational use of CSU Interact as the University’s online learning environment through engagement with stakeholders and a coherent, collaborative, pedagogical and evidenced–based planning process with clearly defined application specifications;
- Promote an iterative and collaborative approach to learning systems development and maintenance including the piloting and introduction of a Digital Object Management System.
- Assist learning and teaching resource teams both directly by provision of educational and technical support and systemically through development of learning designs and templates and the professional development of staff in the educational and technical skills required for resource development.
