Bio
Rachel has been an educational designer at CSU since 2004, and before that she worked as an editor at the Open University, the largest provider of distance education in the UK. Rachel graduated from CSU with a BA (Liberal Studies) in 1989, undertook a cadetship with a regional newspaper and then worked as a journalist, a sub editor and in public relations in Wagga Wagga and the UK.
Rachel has worked across a number of schools within the university including the Schools of Education, Maths and Computing, Visual & Performing Arts and Information Studies. Her special interest lies in the creation of dynamic online communities that enhance the learning experience for distance students.
