What online services are available?

There are various online services available for enrolled students. The easiest way to access these services is via your my.csu. For most services you will require your username and password. Below is a brief overview of what you can do.

Maintain your Personal Details

You can change your Mailing Address, Out of Session Address and Temporary Address details, redirect your email address, update phone numbers and next of kin.

Complete your Re-enrolment

Enrol into subjects for all relevant sessions of the coming year by 1 November.

Vary your Enrolment

Alter your enrolment by adding or deleting subjects. The latest date you may add subjects to your enrolment is the Friday of the first week of session for Autumn and Spring and the Friday before the start of session for trimesters. You can delete subjects from your enrolment up until the relevant session’s census date.

Subject Availability

List subjects available for a given Term (Session), Prefix & Number (eg. ACC100), Mode (ie. Internal, Distance or Tutorial) or Campus.

Textbooks

This service allows you to obtain a list of textbook requirements for the distance education subjects you are enrolled in.

Subject Class Schedule

Check your lecture times and venues for a session for the subjects you are enrolled in.

Online Subjects

All students, regardless of their location or mode of study, are provided with comparable access to staff and services. The University has designed an extensive online environment and provided access to online services for you to use during your time as a CSU student. Our online facilities and services can assist you in your study and research, and can also meet some of your social and administrative needs as a student.

Mailing/Assignment Dates

Distance education students can check when subject material has been sent. Also provided are assignment details such as due dates and if the assignment has been received.

Residential School Timetable

Distance education students can check their residential school requirements for the subjects they are enrolled in. The information provided includes residential school dates, attendance (ie. compulsory or not), campus location, meeting venue and time.

Examination Timetable

Six weeks prior to the exam period for a session, exam timetables can be viewed.

Transcripts - Results

View your subject results by viewing your Student Transcript. The online version is an 'unofficial' transcript, meaning you cannot use it as a legal document.

Request a Transcript

Request an 'Official Transcript', a $10 fee applies to currently enrolled students.

Finance Balances

View a summary of your current and future account balances with the University. The current balance includes amounts which are due or overdue as at today's date. The future balance includes known transactions that are not currently due but will be applied to your account at a future date. Details on the transactions associated with the balances can be viewed by accessing the detail pages.

Internet Statement

View details relating to your Internet usage such as how much you have been charged or how much credit you have remaining.

Redirect your Email

Redirect your email messages to another email address you may have. This may be useful during holiday periods.

CSU Handbooks

Access all information provided in University handbooks (ie. Undergraduate and Postgraduate). Handbooks going back several years are made available online.

Administration Contacts

Obtain contact details for a campus, a staff member or a particular CSU division.

Downloadable Forms

Various administrative forms can be downloaded to your computer for you to print and complete. There are particular forms that can be completed over the Internet.
