How to Apply for Admission to a CSU course

If you are an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident submitting your application to the CSU admissions office, then you need to complete an Application for Admission form and attach a detailed resume of your employment and education experience.

You must also provide evidence of the completion of your course(s) of study by way of verified copies of the Award and final transcript provided to you.  A statement of motivation or the reasons why you are interested in this particular course at CSU may also be useful in determining your eligibility for admission.

Some courses will have other separate and unique admission requirements, so you should check the course brochure and ensure all relevant documentation is attached to your application form.  Applications are not deemed complete and ready for determination of eligibility until all relevant documentation is provided to the Admissions Office.  In those courses where entry is competitive, failure to provide full documentation with your initial application can result in you missing out on a place in the course.

International Applicants should visit CSU International for details on how to apply for admission.

Applicants applying to study a Research Higher Degree should review the information available via the Centre for Research and Graduate Training.

Prospective students interested in studying undergraduate on campus should apply through the NSW University Admissions Centre (UAC) or the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) depending on your home state.
