Online Course Structures and the Subject Availability List
Before adding subjects to your enrolment form you should check your course structure at www.csu.edu.au/handbook/handbook10 (then follow the selection options to locate your course) where you will find the course requirements and a recommended enrolment pattern. Once you know which subjects you want to add to your enrolment form, you need to check whether they are available in the session you want to study them by searching the online Subject Availability List at www.my.csu.edu.au (select the Quick Link Subject Info then Subject Availability) as some subjects are offered once a year while others are offered more frequently.
The Subject Availability List allows you to search for subjects by subject code prefix, year, session or mode of study. To search for a particular subject, select the subject code prefix (eg ACC) from the drop down menu then add the number which completes the subject code (eg 100 to search for ACC100). On the next line you can select the year, term ID (30, 60 and 90) and mode (usually distance). You should leave the campus as the default option. Once you have entered your search criteria, select Get Subject Availability and you will receive a list of all subjects which meet your criteria. You can then select the subject code hyperlink to look at a description of the subject and the Campus Timetable Link for residential school dates (if applicable) before adding the subject to your enrolment form.
What happens after you return your Acceptance of Offer?
You will receive a welcome message in your eBox (accessed from the top of your personalised area of www.my.csu.edu.au) with links to other areas of the CSU website. You will receive official communications, such as invoices, examination notices, results notices, re-enrolment information etc via your eBox.
